Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunction or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment. If the supply cord is damaged，it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. [. . . ] Before first use, unpack the appliance and place all parts on a horizontal surface. The cap, lid, jar assembly, blade assembly, and jar base have already been assembled into the motor unit. Put the jar base onto the blade assembly, holding the jar handle, thread the jar base into the bottom of the jar assembly and turn it counterclockwise until tight. Finally, place the assembled jar onto the motor unit and turn it clockwise until tight.
