Manual abstract: user guide TOMY TSP500

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] To release the plug, firmly squeeze and pull the plug so that the locking arm is released from the socket. € TESTING Before every use we recommend carrying out the following checks with the Pad in the cot or Moses basket (as per the Set Up guide). Firstly tap the mattress, at which time the Pad Controller should emit a soft click and the indicator shall flash Green. Follow this by leaving the Pad to stand untouched for 20 seconds, then the alarm shall sound and the indicator shall illuminate red. [. . . ] The Tomy Movement Sensor Pad may detect movement from many sources from both inside and outside your baby’s room, for example from fans, a washing machine, loud music, etc. Make sure that all vibration sources are eliminated before using the Tomy Movement Sensor Pad monitor. Always place both the Movement Sensor Pad and Pad Controller on a flat surface in the upright position, away from baby’s reach. When the monitor is in use, DO NOT use a cot mobile or other cot accessory that may produce vibrations; the alarm will not sound as the monitor will still be detecting movement. The Movement Sensor Pad and its cord are entirely passive; they carry no electrical current and do not radiate any form of energy. The Tomy Movement Sensor Pad can be used in any cot or sleeping area (that has no motion or vibration), designed to safely hold a baby. pORTABLE AUDIO MONITORING • Connecting to a Tomy TD or TDV Series Monitor PORTABLE VIDEO MONITORING 250 metres achievable in optimum open field conditions. Periodically examine product for signs of damage to electrical parts and do not use until damage has been properly repaired. Always remove batteries from the Baby Unit if using the mains adaptor for long periods of time. € GUARANTEE We guarantee your monitor against manufacturing defects for 2 years from the date of purchase on production of a valid receipt. In the first instance of a manufacturing defect, we recommend that you return your monitor to its place of purchase. If this does not satisfactorily resolve your problem, please refer to www. Eu • BATTERY SAFETY With the Movement Sensor Pad in position within the cot or Moses basket and your chosen portable monitor operating as per its supplied instruction booklet, take the connection cable (supplied with the Tomy Movement Sensor Pad monitor) and plug one end into the socket on the Pad Controller and the other end into the socket on the Baby Unit of the portable monitor. All sounds and alarms shall automatically transfer to the Parent Unit of your portable monitor. This will be signalled by a beep emitted by the Parent Unit of the portable monitor (so that your baby is not disturbed). Powering the Pad Monitor The Pad Controller will draw power from the connected Baby Unit only if the Baby Unit is powered by the Main (AC). If the Baby Unit is powered by Batteries (DC) the Pad Controller will continue to draw power from its own battery supply (or will not function if none are present or they are flat). If powering the Baby Unit via mains and therefore the Pad Controller by mains, we recommend installing a new set of batteries within the Pad Controller so that in the event of a power failure, monitoring continues. Fail Safe In the event of a connection failure (possibly caused by a power failure or loss of signal etc. - please refer to Fault Finding guide), all Movement Sensor Pad monitoring shall be transferred back to the Pad Controller, as long as it has battery power. Using a Tomy non TD or TDV series Monitor With the Movement Sensor Pad in position within the cot or Moses basket place the Baby Unit of the portable monitor within 20cm of the Pad Controller. Ensuring the volume of the Pad Controller is set to an audible level use the Parent Unit to listen for the soft click and alarms. [. . . ] Pad Controller is detecting movement from outside of the cot such as motorised devices, strong draughts, central heating, etc. Position the cot near a solid supporting wall to prevent the Sensor Pad from detecting movement from outside the cot. Increase the volume by turning the thumb wheel in a clockwise direction. Câble de raccordement pour la gamme d’écoute-bébés Digital de Tomy (voir « Écoute-bébé portable ») • INSTALLATION • POSITIONNER LE TAPIS DÉTECTEUR DE MOUVEMENT TSP500 Connecting to a Tomy TD or TDV Series Monitor PROBLEM I have batteries within my TD series Monitor baby unit but my Pad Controller doesn’t work POSSIBLE CAUSE The Pad Controller requires its own battery supply unless the connected Baby Unit is powered by mains (AC) power.
