It is a good idea to check that the boiler is empty before filling it. WARNING: never exceed the maximum boiler fill level of 6, 5 fl oz (200 ml); always use the jug supplied. USE ⢠Plug the power cable (D) into a suitable socket with an earth connection. ⢠The âSteam Readyâ lamp (C) will turn on. ¢ To supply steam, simply press the steam request lever (B) (fig. ¢ The first time it is used, drops of water may leak out. We therefore recommend directing the first jet of steam onto a cloth, until a uniform jet is obtained. This indicates that the electric resistance is operating to keep constant pressure and is therefore quite normal. IMPORTANT: ⢠During use, do not tilt the appliance more than 45°. ATTENTION: if pressing the steam request lever (B) when the appliance is still pressurised, even if off and disconnected from the mains, steam may in any case be released. As such, before turning the appliance off and putting it away, please first press the steam request lever (B) until the steam flow ceases. [. . . ] ¢ In turn, the lance can be connected to the flex (2) and therefore all other accessories supplied. LANCE (2) The lance allows you to direct the jet of steam to the most hidden and difficult parts to reach with the steam gun. Ideal for cleaning radiators, door and window frames, bathroom elements and shutters. ¢ To attach the lance (2), simply bring the arrow on the lance into line with the single notch on the appliance (fig.
