If you don't know the frequency of the station you want, see "Receiving broadcasts by scanning stations (automatic tuning)" on this page. FM MASTER VOLUME To watch FM simulcast TV programs Make sure that you tune in the simulcast program both on the TV (or the VCR) and on the receiver. Four sound fields are included in the CINEMA type and they are grouped into two types. When you select the PRO LOGIC sound field, the receiver obtains full surround sound by using Dolby Pro Logic to decode Dolby Surround encoded software. The surround sound is reproduced in the exact way that the sound engineer of the software intended. Other sound fields in the CINEMA type are designed to add more reverberation effects by incorporating Digital Cinema Sound technology. When you select these sound fields, the receiver adds the reflection and reverberation effects that are typical in movie theaters to the decoded Dolby Pro Logic Surround sound. You can enjoy the sound that you would experience in the movie theater. Virtual mode allows you to enjoy the surround sound environment using a minimum of two front speakers to create non-existent `virtual' speakers. The listener would be able to feel the surround effects using only front speakers.
