The [Hardware Update Wizard] appears. 32 Built-in AIT 5 Select [Install the software automatically (Recommended)], insert the CD-ROM provided, then click the [Next] button. The [Please select the best match for your hardware from the list below. ] screen appears. 6 Select the hardware associated to "d:\xp\32\s32ait. inf", then click the [Next] button. The [Completing the Hardware Update Wizard] screen appears. 7 Click the [Finish] button. Built-in AIT 33 8 Make sure that the "Sony AIT 80 GB SCSI Drive" appears in the [Device Manager] window. Installation of the tape device driver is now complete. Hint The device driver that you installed is enabled after you restart the system. 34 Built-in AIT For Windows Server 2003 Users 1 Click the [Start] button, point to [Control Panel], then click [System]. The [System Properties] dialog box appears. 2 Click the [Hardware] tab, then click the [Device Manager] button. The [Device Manager] window appears. 3 Make sure that [SONY NSZ-GT1 SCSI Sequential Device] appears in [Other devices], and then doubleclick it. The [SONY NSZ-GT1 SCSI Sequential Device Properties] dialog box appears. 4 Click the [Driver] tab, then click the [Update Driver] button. The [Hardware Update Wizard] appears. Built-in AIT 35 5 Select [Install the software automatically (Recommended)], insert the CD-ROM provided, then click the [Next] button. The [Completing the Hardware Update Wizard] screen appears. 7 Click the [Finish] button. 36 Built-in AIT 8 Make sure that the "Sony AIT 80 GB SCSI Drive" appears in the [Device Manager] window. Installation of the tape device driver is now complete. Built-in AIT 37 Using the ASR function When using the ASR (Automated System Recovery*) function in Windows, you must download and install the device driver files from a floppy disk. Prepare a blank floppy disk, and copy the files in the "DeviceDriver" folder on the supplied CD-ROM to the blank floppy disk. Important It is important to preserve the file paths when creating the floppy disk. Copy the files in the "DeviceDriver" folder so they appear as shown below.
