Installing the Monitor Assembling the stand base 1 Place the screen face down. CAUTION To yy protect the screen from scratches, cover the surface with a soft cloth. The yy monitor may flicker when turned on in an area of low temperature. This is normal. USB IN H/P DP IN (CALIBRATOR) 5V 0. 9 A USB UP DV DVI-I(D) OUT PC USING THE MONITOR 15 Display port connection Transmits the digital video and audio signals from your PC to the monitor. Connect your PC to the monitor using the display port cable as illustrated below. Press the menu ( ) button and then select the input option from the input menu. HDMI connection ENG ENGLISH Transmits the digital video and audio signals from your PC and A/V devices to the monitor. Connect your PC and AV device to the monitor with the HDMI cable as illustrated below. yy If you click "Save", the installation will not continue. 7 Complete the installation. 4 When the TUSB3410 driver installer starts, click [Next]. 18 INSTALLING TRUE COLOR PRO INSTALLING TRUE COLOR PRO Insert the the owner's manual CD included in the product packaging into your PC's CD driver and install the True Color Pro software. ENGLISH ENG 1 When the True Color Pro installer starts, the window appears as shown below. Select a language and click [Next]. 3 Check "I accept. . . . " on the License Agreement screen and then click [Next]. 2 Click [Next]. 4 Enter your User Name and Company Name, and click [Next]. CAUTION On yy Windows 7, a step to disable the UAC control is added. 5 Click [Change] to change the installation path. Click [Next]. Click [Yes] to continue the installation. INSTALLING TRUE COLOR PRO 19 6 Click [Install] to start the installation process. Right-click the True Color Pro icon and select "Start Program" to start the program. ENG ENGLISH 7 When the installation is complete, restart the system. CAUTION Once you have completed the monitor yy calibration with the True Color Pro software, remove the calibrator from the monitor and store it at room temperature away from direct sunlight or put it in the box. CUSTOMIZING SETTINGS 27 PIP settings ENG ENGLISH 1 To view the menu OSD, press the Menu ( ) button at the bottom of the monitor. To return to the upper menu or set other menu items, use the Menu ( PIP Sub Menu Off Balanced Bottom R PIP PIP Size Position Reset Back Exit Each option is described below. Menu > PIP PIP Size Description Displays the screens of two input modes on one monitor. (DVI+DP, HDMI+DP, DP+DVI, DP+HDMI) Adjusts the size of the secondary screen. Small Medium Large Position Shows the secondary screen in a small size display. Shows the secondary screen in a large size display. Adjusts the position of the secondary screen. Bottom Right Bottom Left Top Left Top Right Shows the secondary screen in the bottom right of the display. Shows the secondary screen in the top right of the display. Reset Back Exit Resets the PIP function to the default settings. Exits the OSD menu. NOTE If yy the PIP mode is off, Position is disabled. If yy Size is set to Balance, Position is disabled. 28 CUSTOMIZING SETTINGS Picture ENGLISH ENG 1 To view the menu OSD, press the Menu ( ) button at the bottom of the monitor. To return to the upper menu or set other menu items, use the Menu ( Picture Sub Menu Picture 5 Low Normal Sharpness Black Level Response Time Each option is described below.
