Using SmarThru Settings Image Area Resolution Output Lets you select the size of the image being copied. Lets you select the scan resolution. Scale Fit to Page Printable Area Center Lets you scale the resulting image. Check this box to center image being copied on the page (applied if the resulting image is smaller than page). Copies Number of Copies Buttons Default Printer Setup Copy Cancel Help Lets you specify the number of copies that will be printed. Resets all the controls to their default values. Brings up the standard printer setup dialogue box to allow you to configure your printer. Displays the on-line help. Copying a Scanned Image 3. 23 Working with E-mail messages Overview With Samsung SmarThru, you can send, receive and easily organise your work with E-mail messages. The system provides you with convenient tools that let you sort and find messages using a number of criteria. This chapter will provide you with all necessary information to work with messages. Notes: · To manage your E-mail messages with Samsung SmarThru, you must configure your internet connection properly when you install the Samsung SmarThru software. If you skipped the internet connection setup at that time, you can configure through the Tools menu in the Samsung DocuThru windows at any time. In the Samsung DocuThru window, select Configuration from the Tools menu. You can quickly access the Configuration command by right-clicking on the SmarThru engine icon in the right corner of the taskbar, then selecting Configuration from the pop-up menu. · You must use the internal computer modem or an external modem for sending or receiving E-mail. You can connect to the Internet using an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or through one of several online services, such as the Microsoft Network or America Online. 3. 24 Working with E-mail messages Creating and sending E-mail messages 1.
