To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and other injuries, keep these safety considerations in mind when installing, using, and maintaining your machine: · Stability. [. . . ] The one-touch or speed dial numbers will be uploaded and displayed in the SF-5100P Phonebook dialogue box. 6. Select the desired Phonebook number in the Phonebook list and click Edit. The Edit dialogue box will appear. 3. 20 Basic operation 04-Basic 12/10/99 6:09 AM Page 23 7. Enter any name and number, and click OK to save the information you just entered. 8. When you have finished, you must click Send Phonebook to download the numbers to your SF-5100P machine. 10. Click Exit. NOTE : One-touch key and speed dial which are assigned in group dial are not deleted. After sending, the documents are automatically erased from the memory. To enter the number, you can also press a one-touch button including group dial button. Otherwise, press Speed, enter a 2-digit speed dial number, then press Start/Enter. The display asks you to enter another fax number to send the document to another location. Enter another fax number using the number keypad, one-touch dial, or 2-digit speed dial number. Or To send to one location or when you complete the last fax number setting, press Start/Enter. The display shows the memory capacity and the number of pages being stored in the memory, then the machine begins sending the document in order of the numbers you entered. Advanced fax 4. 1 05-Advanced 12/10/99 5:59 AM Page 4 Note: If `MEMORY FULL' occurs while scanning into the memory, the display will show: JOB CANCEL DONE Press or to select the option you want. If you select DONE, your machine performs broadcasting only with the pages already scanned. If an error occurs while sending to a specific number, the machine transmits the document to all the other numbers, then retries the number that previously recorded an error. After completing transmission, your machine prints the multi-communication report. Delayed fax You can set your machine to send a fax at a later time when you will not be present. To enter the number, you can also press a one-touch button including Group dial button. Otherwise, press Speed, enter a 2-digit speed dial number, then press Start/Enter. If you want to send to more than one location, enter another fax number using the number keypad, one-touch dial, or 2-digit speed dial number.
