We need to tell consumers when it should be placed in the vertlcal position. · Horizontal position for grilling or combined microwave + grill cooking Grilling The grill enables you to heat and brown food quickly, without using microwaves. Preheat the grill to the required temperature, by pressing the Grill button and set the preheat time by pressing the 10 min, 1 min and 10 s button. Safety-Locking Your Microwave Oven Your microwave oven is fitted with a special Child Safety programme, which enables the oven to be "locked" so that children or anyone unfamiliar with it cannot operate it accidentally.
