Before Using
Please refer to the safety instructions and warnings at the front of this manual before using this product. [. . . ] When THINNING or TAPERING, attach desired Comb Attachment to the 30mm Trimmer Blade. Slowly guide the Groomer through hair, repeating in various directions as necessary. SHORT HEAD HAIR: Follow THINNING & TAPERING instructions referenced above. With 18mm Trimmer Blade facing self, start with edge of sideburn by resting blade lightly against skin. NAPE OF NECK: Using a hand-held mirror is necessary if self-trimming. Lift hair off neck, using index finger to cover & protect those hairs NOT needing trimming. Carefully touch cutting blade to neck, slowly moving the groomer in an upward direction until stopped by index finger.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
This groomer is a washable appliance, the hand-held part of which may be cleaned under water. NOTE: Always clean Grooming System attachments regularly to ensure maximum performance and a proper operating life. CAUTION: Be sure the groomer is detached from the power supply cord before cleaning. CLEANING ATTACHMENTS WITH BRUSH After first removing attachment, thoroughly brush and blow out hair clippings from cutter system, attachment, and top of power handle. OILING BLADES & CAUTIONS Rinsing attachments under water (above) requires lubricating the cutting blades 1x monthly. Remove blade set by first removing the screws in head of Trimming Blades. sewing machine oil) as these will not evaporate nor slow down speed of cutting blades. Do not use hair oil, grease, or any oil mixed with kerosene or solvent as these too will evaporate. STORAGE Always store this appliance and cord in a moisture-free area. A: The cutting unit may be dirty or clogged. Clean and lubricate the groomer as described previously.
