[. . . ] Always use the Juicer stick to feed fruit into the feeding tube ­ NEVER use fingers. If food becomes stuck in the Feeding Tube NEVER try to remove with fingers use the Juicer Stick to push the food through. If this does not work switch off the machine and unplug, wait until it has cooled down and disassemble and clean. Make sure when removing parts to clean the power is switched off and unplugged from the wall socket. [. . . ] Make sure the switch on the machine is set to `0' and connect to mains supply. Wash and cut fruit into small pieces that will fit through the feeding tube. Start the machine using the power switch and turning it to position 1 for slow and position 2 for fast. Slowly add the fruit/vegetable pieces via the food chute using the Juicer Stick to feed the fruit down the chute. Please remember to remove any stones in fruit or any peel that you would not normally eat. The juicer is efficient but do not to over load the machine by feeding too much through at once. Once the juice container is full you can empty the juice into another container and then resume juicing. Once the Pulp container is full, switch of the juicer at the mains supply and disassemble as described above. Empty the pulp from the pulp container and re-assemble as described above. Notes: The amount of juice produced depends upon the type of fruit/vegetable used and how ripe it is. Only put through things that you would normally eat, for example: Kiwi fruit should be peeled first. Never put sharp objects down the food chute or fruit with a hard shell. Please note that bananas are not suitable for juice extractors due to the way the fruit is structured. 6. Cleaning When cleaning this product please observe the following precautions: · · Always ensure the unit is switched off & unplugged from the mains Disassemble as described in the disassembly instructions. If you are processing large ingredients, cut them into small pieces (2-3cm) first. However, if you wish to keep the juice for several hours lemon juice must be added which will act as a natural preservative. Apple Juice turns brown quickly so to prevent this from happening add a few drops of lemon juice to act as a natural preservative. The pulp contains lots of vitamins as well and can be used as a base to make Soups, Sauces or desserts. Why not experiment!
