R Caller ID service has a limit of how many characters can be displayed. If the caller’s name is too long, the unit may not be able to display or announce the entire name. Missed calls If a call is not answered, the unit treats it as a missed call and “Missed call” is displayed. This lets you know if you should view the caller list to see who called while you were away. Even if only one missed call in the caller list is viewed (page 34), “Missed call” disappears from the display. When you receive another new call, “Missed call” is displayed again.
