[. . . ] The calls are registered only if the network supports these functions, and the phone is switched on and within the network service area. When you select Options in the Missed calls, Received calls, and Dialled numbers menus, you can view the date and the time of the call, edit or delete the phone number from the list, save the number in Contacts, or send a message to the number. Settings Profiles Your phone has various setting groups, profiles, for which you can customize the phone tones for different events and environments. To personalize the profile, select Personalise and the setting that you want to change. Select Light effects to activate the pulsating light indicator if the phone is switched on and the display light is switched off. To set the profile to be active until a certain time up to 24 hours, select Timed, and set the time for the profile setting to end. Themes A theme is a package that may include a screen saver, a wallpaper image, a ringing tone, a background image, and a colour scheme to customize your phone for different events and environments. All rights reserved. 53 Tone settings You can change the settings of the selected active profile. Select Menu > Settings > Tone settings and from the following options: Incoming call alert, Ringing tone, Ringing volume, Vibrating alert, Message alert tone, Keypad tones, and Warning tones. Select Alert for to set the phone to ring only upon calls from phone numbers that belong to a selected caller group. Scroll to the caller group that you want to select, or select All calls > Mark. Light settings Select Menu > Settings > Light settings > On or Off, to turn the light effects on or off. Display settings Select Menu > Settings > Display settings. Personal shortcuts With personal shortcuts you get quick access to frequently used phone functions. Lower selection key Select Menu > Settings > Personal shortcuts > Lower selection key to allocate a phone function from a predefined list to the lower selection key. This menu is not shown in some operator variants. Enhanced voice commands The phone has a voice recognition feature that lets you say voice commands to dial numbers and perform phone functions. Voice commands are automatically attached to functions in the phone and the name written in the contact is automatically converted to a voice tag. To activate and execute a voice command, see Make a voice dialing call p. To manage the voice commands, select Menu > Settings > Personal shortcuts > Voice commands, scroll to a phone function, and select Options, and from the following options: Edit -- to change the voice command of a phone function, and enter the new name Remove -- to deactivate the voice command from the selected function Add all -- to activate voice commands to all phone functions from the voice commands list. [. . . ] Press the end key as many times as needed to clear the display and ready the phone for calls. Press and hold the middle selection key and select the digits of the emergency number for your present location (e. g. 112, 911 or other official emergency number) one by one from the character bar.
