[ 68 ] Manage phone security 11 Manage phone security You can lock your keypad, restrict selective calls, and use security codes to secure your phone against accidental or unauthorized use. Important: When Keyguard is on, it may be possible to dial emergency numbers (for example, 911 or other official emergency numbers). The number is displayed only after you have keyed in its last digit. · LOCK AND UNLOCK THE KEYPAD (KEYGUARD) Remember to lock your phone's keypad to prevent accidental calls. Scroll to Off, Memory, or Phone and press Select. · FIXED DIALING Once you set up and activate a fixed dialing list, your phone can make calls only to those numbers that you have defined in the fixed dialing list. Fixed dialing is a network feature and must be supported by your wireless provider. The options in the following table appear in the display: Note: If you activate fixed dialing and the number list is empty, all outgoing calls, except for emergency numbers such as 911, require entry of the PIN2 code.
