Warning tones -- sets the phone to sound a warning, for example, when the battery is running out of power. Alert for -- sets the phone to ring only for calls from phone numbers that belong to a selected caller group. You can change the following display settings: · Wallpaper -- to add a background image to your phone in standby mode. You can also receive images from a multimedia message, or transfer images from PC Suite on your PC to your phone and save them in Gallery. Scroll to the image you want, press Options, and select Set as wallpaper. To activate or deactivate the wallpaper, select On or Off respectively. Note that the wallpaper is not displayed when the phone activates the screen saver. · Colour schemes -- to change the color in some display components, for example, the menu background and signal and battery bar colors. The operator logo is not displayed when the screen saver is activated. For more information on the availability of an operator logo, contact your service provider or network operator. · Screen saver time-out -- to set the timeout period after which the screen saver is activated. · Display contrast -- to change the contrast of the display to lighter or darker by pressing the scroll key left and right. · Menu view -- to set the way the phone displays the main menu. 37 Settings Time and date settings Press Menu, and select Settings Time and date settings. · Clock -- SelectShow clock (or Hide clock) to show (or hide) the clock in standby mode. Select Set the time to adjust the clock to the correct time, Time zone to set the correct time zone, and Time format to select the 12-hour or 24-hour format. The clock functions for Messages, Call register, Alarm clock, timed Profiles, Calendar, Notes, and the screen saver. If the battery is removed from the phone for a long time or if the battery is discharged completely, you may need to set the time again. · Date -- Select Show date (or Hide date) and the date is shown (or hidden) on the display when the phone is in standby mode. · Auto-update of date & time (network service) -- Select On to set the phone to automatically update the time and date in the current time zone. If the device is in offline or flight mode you must change the profile to activate the phone function before you can make an emergency call.
