Leg length discrepancy: _______ The distance the individual foot support must be lowered on the longer side. 13 MAIN COLUMN ADJUSTMENT Refer to figure 15. Measure from the middle of the knee block to the foot support plate (Adj. Loosen the two inner allen screws on the footrest mounting bracket (1). Measure from the foot support plate to the top of the trunk support (Adj. If more height is required loosen the column adjustment lever (3) and extend the upper column. Measure from the foot support plate to the top of the hip support (Adj. Hip and Trunk Support Width: (You may need to loosen the straps to increase the width) Slightly loosen the adjustment levers (2, 4) making sure the height of the hip and trunk supports do not change. It is very important to make sure that the outside of the bars are an equal distance from the mid-line of the column. The straps will be adjusted by the velcro later as part of the fine tuning while the child is in the stander. Height: Loosen the two allen screws (1) and slide the tray along the upper column to the desired height. Rotate the knee support bar (2) until the knee pad is at the appropriate angle to support the knees. Slide the knee support bar until the knee pad is at the correct width to assist in the alignment of the lower extremities. Slide the knee pad along the knee support bar to make small height adjustments. Remove the drive wheel plates (optional): Loosen and remove the four screws (1) so the wheel plate (2) can be removed. Remember to keep track of the washers and screws for Figure 19 reassembling. [. . . ] Place the child s feet into the shoe holders and slowly lift him into standing. Fasten the buckle straps on the hip and trunk supports, the buckle straps for the shoe holder, and the velcro straps on the knee supports.
