Keep batteries or things that could be swallowed away from young children. It is not necessary to install batteries in the control grip if the batteries will be left in the camera. â· If you are installing batteries with the camera attached to the VC-7DD, turn off the camera and slide the grip-control switch on the VC-7DD to "LOCK" before installing. â· Do not mix batteries of different types, brands, or ages. â· Do not touch the contacts indicated with * in the figures 3. This product is designed for use from Â20 to 50 °C (0 - 120 °F). â· Never leave this product where it may be subjected to extreme temperatures, such as the glove compartment of a car. â· To prevent condensation from forming, place this product in a sealed plastic bag when bringing it from a cold environment to a warm environment. â· When photographing in cold weather, it is recommended that the camera and vertical control grip and spare batteries are kept inside your coat to keep them warm when not shooting. If the contacts are dirty, the camera may not operate properly, or may appear even with a fresh battery.
