Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] I This Kettcar is designed for persons with a maximum weight of 75 kg. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damages caused by improper use. I Damaged parts may endanger the user and shorten the life span of the product. Please check all parts regularly, in short intervals according to use, for possible damages and loose connections (screws, plug-in connections). [. . . ] I When parking the Kettcar you have to secure it against rolling away with the parking brake lever (left near the seat, see fig. Also you may use the parking brake adjusting nuts to adjust the distance between wheel and braketube (5 mm) when the wheels tread wears. I Instruct children in the correct use of the product, and draw their attention to possible dangers. I Please note that pedals on any wheeled toy without freewheeling appliance will turn even if the product is being pushed or is coasting. I If this product can be adjusted please adapt it to your child's height. I Lubricate the bearing sleeves of the wheels and the handlebars with a few drops of oil every two or three months. I For models with pneumatic tyres: When leaving wheeled toys with pneumatic tyres on floors containing solvents or which have been glued with such solvents (e. PVC) they may possibly stain it due to a chemical reaction with the natural product caoutchouc. Ensure that air pressure in the tyres is correct (1, 5 bar/20 PSI); if air pressure is too low this increases wear, and makes riding the toy more difficult!I The Kettcar Nevada II is equipped with a 7-speed hub gear which can be used to adjust the pedalling resistance for different terrain types by turning the handle. 1st gear / low pedalling resistance = for starting and pedalling uphill up to 7th gear / highest pedalling resistance fast riding on level ground. I It is particularly important to teach children how to correctly operate the brakes. the hand brake acts on both rear wheels and is lockable (parking brake). This brake is better suited For emergency braking than the back-pedal brake which only acts on one rear wheel and should therefore only be used for slowing down from moderate speeds. the back-pedal brake is , unlike the back-pedal brakes of bicycles , also suitable for driving backwards. That means that the driven wheel can turn backwards when the brake is used heavily. I The wheeled toy vehicle must be assembled carefully by an adult person. assemble the vehicle in the exact sequence shown by the letters in the diagrams. I Please note that there is always a danger of injury when working with tools or doing manual work. I Ensure that your working area is free of possible sources of danger, for example don't leave any tools lying around. Always dispose packaging material in such a way that it may not cause any danger. There is always a risk of suffocation if children play with plastic bags! [. . . ] In line 1 SEt appears and in line 2 the wheel diameter is flashing briefly. By pressing it for a longer period of time, you can change the adjustment speed. Line 1 shows SEt and in line 2 the wheel diameter is flashing briefly, now set in Inch. By pressing it for a longer period of time, you can change the adjustment speed. [. . . ]
