[. . . ] · To enable and disable this function, the radio must be switched on. · To disable the Auto-Time function, press the TIME button for 3 seconds. ­ At the preselected alarm times the sound signal will switch on and switch off again automatically 90 minutes later. ­ During the alarm function, the alarm indicator is flashing on the display. ­ The two alarm signals for alarm time 1 and alarm time 2 differ in tone. 1 2 WEC · Make sure that the radio is off. · If you do not wish to be woken by the alarm on the weekend, press W. E. C. button again to switch this function off. 1 Going to sleep while listening to the radio · Press the SLEEP button briefly. ­ The unit switches on the radio and the display will show the previously set 'sleep' period and the indicator ' '. · The 'sleep' time can be adjusted from 90 minutes --> 10 minutes by pressing the SLEEP button several times or continuously. ­ After the preset sleep time has elapsed, the radio will switch off automatically. · The SLEEP function can be terminated prematurely by pressing the SNOOZE or ON/OFF button. Interrupting and repeating the alarm · The radio alarm or electronic sound alarm can be interrupted with the SNOOZE button. · It is possible to interrupt the alarm function several times during the switch-on period. 1 2 WEC 13 SC610 page 14 RADIO Radio reception · Switch the radio on and off with the ON/OFF button. ­ 'FM' lights up on the display when the radio is on; · Adjust the volume with the rotary control VOLUME. ­ The wire antenna at the back of the set is used for FM reception. · Position the wire antenna so that optimum reception is obtained. Automatic tuning · To activate automatic station search (AUTO TUNING), press << or >> until the frequency display begins 'to run'; then release the button. · If the tuned station provides the RDS service, the display shows the station name and the symbol. ­ Stations which are received with a weak field strength may be skipped. [. . . ] ­ During the EON traffic announcement the EON symbol on the display flashes and the volume will be increased. · When the announcement is over, the radio will return to the previous station. · To immediately switch back to the previous station, press the button. [. . . ]
