Erases all the data and reformats (initializes) the SmartMedia for use with this camera.

If you press the "MENU/OK" button, the menu screen will appear on the LCD monitor.
Use "d" or " c" to select "{ERASE". Use "a" and " b " to select "FRAME", Press the "MENU/OK" button.

" ", " ", "· " or "§ " is displayed, first wipe the contact surface on the SmartMedia (gold-colored area) thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth and then reload the SmartMedia. If this does not resolve the problem, format the card.
A confirmation message appears. To erase all the frames or format the SmartMedia, press the "MENU/OK" button. In the frame erase screen, use "d" or "c" to select a file and then press the "MENU/OK" button.

Press the "MENU/OK" button to display the menu on the monitor.
Use "d" or "c" to select "}PLAYBACK". The image
frames are automatically advanced and played back.
Press the "MENU/OK" button to display the menu on the monitor.
Use "d" or " c" to select "OPROTECT". Use "a" or "b" to select "FRAME SET/RESET". G If you press the "DISP" button once during playback,
the playback frame number is displayed on the monitor. G To interrupt "} PLAYBACK", press the "BACK" button.
playback is an easy way to select images to be protected (P. 38).

Protection can be set for an image to prevent it from being inadvertently erased. However, note that formatting erases all images ( P. 78).

With the FinePix6800 ZOOM, you can order prints using the Digital Print Order Format (DPOF). You can use the DPOF to specify the following : G The frames to be printed and the number of prints for each frame G Imprinting of the date and time This section gives a detailed description of how to order your prints with the FinePix6800 ZOOM.
