to transport the cement to your home?(99 kg), the calculation would be: 1400 - (2 x 220) (12 x 100) = 1400 - 440 - 1200 = - 240 lb. In metric units, the calculation would be: 635 kg - (2 x 99 kg) - (12 x 45 kg) = 635 - 198 540 = -103 kg. (45 kg) cement bags, then the load calculation would be: 1400 - (2 x 220) - (9 x 100) = 1400 - 440 - 900 = 60 lb. Now you have the load capacity to transport the cement and your friend home. In metric units, the calculation would be: 635 kg - (2 x 99 kg) - (9 x 45 kg) = 635 - 198 - 405 = 32 kg. The above calculations also assume that the loads are positioned in your vehicle in a manner that does not overload the Front or the Rear Gross Axle Weight Rating specified for your vehicle on the Safety Compliance Certification Label found on the edge of the driver's door. Special loading instructions for owners of pickup trucks and utility-type vehicles For important information regarding safe operation of this type of vehicle, see the Preparing to drive your vehicle section in the Driving chapter of this Owner's Guide. Extra precautions, such as slower speeds and increased stopping distance, should be taken when driving a heavily loaded vehicle. Depending upon the type and placement of the load, hauling cargo and people may raise the center of gravity of the vehicle. TRAILER TOWING Refer to 6. 0 Liter Power Stroke Direct Injection Turbo Diesel Owner's Guide Supplement for Diesel engine towing information. Your vehicle may tow a class I, II or III trailer, provided the maximum trailer weight is less than or equal to the maximum trailer weight listed for your engine and rear axle ratio on the following charts. 128

GCWR (Gross Combined Weight Rating)/Trailer Weights Maximum Maximum Rear Maximum Loaded frontal area of Engine axle GCWR - lb. (kg) (m2) Maximum trailer weight for all cutaway (E-350 and E-450) vehicles must be calculated by subtracting the weight of the vehicle (including incomplete vehicle weight and payload which includes second unit body weight, cargo and passengers) from the GCW. [. . . ] These lubricants do not need to be checked or changed unless a leak is suspected, service is required or the axle assembly has been submerged in water. The axle lubricant should be changed any time the rear axle has been submerged in water. 7 Fill Dana rear axles to 1/4 inch to 9/16 inch (6 mm to 14 mm) below bottom of fill hole. 8 Optional fuel tank 55. 0 gallons (208. 0L).
