Ordering Supplies
Your Dell Photo AIO Printer 964 includes software installed to detect the ink levels in the printer. During a print job, a screen appears on your computer to warn you of low ink levels. You can order ink online at www. dell. com/supplies or by phone.

NOTE: To send a fax between two fax machines within an office that utilizes one- or two-digit extensions, the printer recognizes the numbers entered as an extension instead of a speed dial if you press star (*), pound (#), and then the extension.

Manually Dialing a Fax While Listening to a Telephone Line (On Hook Dial)

From the main menu, use the up and down Arrow buttons press Select .

Enter the number to which you want to send a fax. Press Start when you are ready to send a fax.
Send a Delayed Fax

Use the keypad to specify the hour, and then press the right Arrow button Use the keypad to specify the minutes, and then press the right Arrow button Use the keypad to specify AM (1), PM (2), or 24Hr (3). Press Start .
At the designated time, the fax number is dialed, and the fax is transmitted to the designated fax number. If the fax transmission is unsuccessful, the unsuccessful number is tried again based on the redial settings.

Blocking Faxes
Fax Blocking helps you regulate who you receive faxes from. You can block faxes from up to 50 numbers.
Create a Blocked Fax List

From the main menu, use the up and down Arrow buttons press Select .

Find the number button that corresponds to the letter you want to enter, and press it repeatedly until the correct letter appears. Press the right Arrow button to move to the next character space, or wait two seconds for the text to be accepted.

NOTE: The lowest possible blocked fax number is automatically assigned to this contact. You cannot change the blocked fax number.
Your printer no longer accepts faxes from the fax numbers you entered when fax blocking is turned on.

Using Auto Fax Convert
If you are faxing a high-resolution document to a fax machine that prints at a lower resolution, the Dell Photo AIO Printer 964 can automatically adjust the fax you send.
NOTE: If you turn off Auto Fax Convert and you attempt to send a fax that is not compatible with the receiving fax machine, the fax is not sent and an "Unsupported Mode" error is displayed.
Auto Fax Convert is on by default. To turn off Auto Fax Convert:
