Stir a teaspoon of cinnamon into maple syrup and warm to serve with Apple Walnut Waffles. Makes 1-1/2 1/2 2 1 1/2 2 6 2 1/2 10 waffles cups all-purpose flour cup whole wheat flour tablespoons granulated sugar tablespoon baking powder teaspoon salt cups reduced-fat milk tablespoons vegetable oil large eggs cup finely chopped nuts, such as pecans, walnuts, almonds or hazelnuts
