[. . . ] 2. 3 Network connection 2. 3. 1 SIM card You must insert a SIM card in the phone, which is the key to the GSM net. 2. 3. 2 Install and pull out the SIM card Be careful to insert and pull out this card; Avoid the scratch and bend of this card, turn off this phone and take the battery out before installation or pulling out the SIM card. Warning: Make sure the phone is power off before taking out the SIM card. Strictly forbid inserting or taking out SIM card when there is any power cord connected on the phone, or it will harm the SIM card and phone. 2. 3. 3 Phone On/ Off Press and hold to toggle on/off the mobile service connection If the phone is power on before inserting the SIM card, it will show "insert SIM card". 2. 3. 4 Unlock SIM card To avoid illegal use, SIM card is protected by PIN1. If you had chosen this function, you must input the PIN1 when power on the phone, then the SIM card is unlocked, you could make or receive a call. Your network supporter will set a standard PIN1 for your SIM card, you should change your personal code as soon as possible. 2. 3. 5 Unlock the phone To avoid illegal use of the phone, you can set phone secret code for protection. Some SMS center doesn't support the long SMS which has more than 160 English letters in some cities and areas. 4. 2. 1. 4 Common note You could input some common sentences in the "common note" to avoid repeating input the same words. 4. 2. 1. 5 Settings You need to do some necessary settings before use SMS function. When the phone turn on which you tracing, the system will send message to the set phone automatically.
