(2) Operation Panel Use to change the settings of the machine or to operate it. See Operation Panel . (3) LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) Displays messages, menu selections, and the operation status. You can also preview photos on the LCD before printing. Note The LCD will turn off if the machine is not operated for about 5 minutes. Mail Dialog Box OCR Scan text documents then extract text in the image and display it in Notepad (included with Windows). When you click this icon, the OCR dialog box opens and you can specify the scan/save settings. OCR Dialog Box Note For further procedures, refer to the application's manual. When you want to convert text in the scanned image to text data, specify Document Type (do not select Auto Mode).
