An unoccupied iZi Up X2 should still be fastened with the 3-point-belt. 1 Unlock the buckle of the 3-points-belt and open the shoulder belt guide (8). 3 Close the shoulder belt guide (8). ! 8 4 Remove the iZi Up X2 from the car. 92 Removing and refitting the cover ! The cover is a safety feature. Removing the cover Pay attention when removing the cover, refitting is done in reverse order. The upholstery of the iZi Up X2 consists of 3 separate cover parts; the head rest cover, the back rest cover and the seat cover. 1 Removing the back rest cover from the iZi Up X2: - Open the Velcro (a) on the back rest. - Detach the elastic loops from the fixing hook (b) and (c) on the back rest. - Remove the elastic cover edges from the surrounding rim (d) of the back rest. a b d c 93 2 Removing the head rest cover: - Detach the elastic loops from the fixing hooks (e & f). - Remove the elastic cover edges from the surrounding rim (g) on the head rest. g f h e i j 3 Removing the seat cover: - Place the seat in sleeping position on the edge of the table (see photo) - Detach the elastic loops from the fixing hooks (h & i). - Remove the elastic cover edges from the surrounding rim (j) on the seat. 94 Refitting the cover Refit the cover, using the previous instructions in reversed order. Washing instructions ! The cover of the iZi Up X2 should be washed in accordance with the instructions (on the inside of the cover). Cleaning the iZi Up X2 Do not use any agressive cleaning products; these may harm the construction material of the iZi Up X2. Clean by hand with water and mild soap. After an accident After an accident, the iZi Up X2 and your car seat belts should be replaced. Although they may look undamaged, if you were to have another accident, the iZi Up X2 and your car seat belts may not be able to protect your child as well as they should. 95 Guarantee All BeSafe products are carefully designed, manufactured and tested. All BeSafe child safety seats are tested periodically out of our continuous production in our test laboratory. Should this product prove faulty within 24 months of purchase due to materials or manufacturing fault, except covers, please return it to the original place of purchase.
