If unit has a removable grille, be sure to clean the fixed grille attached to the housing as well as the removable grille. This appliance is equipped with an ESP® Electric Shock ProtectorTM, specifically engineered for safety. It is for household use and may be plugged into any AC electrical outlet (ordinary household current). IMPORTANT: Never block air intake grille, as this will cause the unit to overheat. Should this happen, a built-in safety system will operate, and the unit will shut off automatically. At this point, turn the switch to Off, and clear any obstruction from the air intake grilles. If the unit fails to operate, it may indicate that the appliance has sustained extensive damage. Take it to an electrical service facility, or return it to the manufacturer. s If an appliance falls into water , "unplug it" immediately.
