[. . . ] To select a wash program or option, simply press the appropriate touchpad. When you press a touchpad, a red indicator light at the upper left of the touchpad glows to show that you selected that program or option. After you've selected the desired wash programs and options, press Start. [. . . ] After making your selections, press Delay then press Start and close the door. The machine will start on its own five hours later.

After you've selected the wash program and options, press Start. The indicator lights will flash rapidly, alternating from left to right. (See also "Understanding the Indicator Lights" on the next page. )
PROGRAM MEMORY PR OGRAM MEMORY
If you select the Pans or Normal wash program, the dishwasher retains the setting until you change them. So when you turn the machine on the next time, the indicator lights for the program and options you last used will be lit. If you want to change the settings, press the touchpad(s) for the other program or options you want to use, then press Start and close the door.

AMOUNT OF DETERGENT TO USE
We recommend that you use only unscented, granular automatic dishwashing detergent. Generally, one tablespoon of detergent is needed for a normal wash load. Also, the amount of detergent needed can vary due to differences in water hardness. (See page 5. ) In any case, you should never use more than three tablespoons of detergent.
TEMPERATURE TEMPERATURE OPTIONS
You can select high or low water temperatures for the wash programs (except Rinse). The table to the right shows the temperature options for each program. We recommend that you use the lower temperature settings whenever possible to conserve energy. [. . . ] If the temperature of the water entering your dishwasher is below 120°, the dishwasher runs longer because it heats the water to the proper temperature for the program selected. If this doesn't resolve the problem, call the ASKO Advisory Center. You may be using too much detergent or washing your dishes in water that is too hot. [. . . ]
