Current time (HH:MM:SS) Local time zone. Total amount of disc space available for content storage on this server. The number of audio CDs currently loaded in the server's library. The version and date of the Media Database.
Click OK to return to the MAX Admin Menu.
IP Settings

These options allow you to view and configure the IP settings of the server for compatibility with your network. To edit these settings, press Yes to proceed to the next screen, and press Yes again to access the Configure TCP/IP screen (FIG. To use dynamic IP configuration (BOOTTP/DHCP), press the tab button to navigate through the elements on the page until an asterisk appears next to Use dynamic IP configuration (BOOTP/DHCP), and press the spacebar to select this option. Note that once this option is selected, the other fields on this page are disabled. This option is only for use by AMX Technical Support.
If the RAID array is rebuilt, all content on the server will be lost and the unit be rendered inoperable.

Log Management

MAX Servers have the ability to log various internal activities, primarily for troubleshooting purposes. The options on this page allow you to view and delete log files, and control the logging level for the server.
Specifying Logging Levels
Select Log Toggles in the Log Management menu to access the Select Log Options menu (FIG. 25), where you can select which events to include in the logs (RS232, ADA, TCP/IP, and DEBUG).

By default, all of the log options are selected for inclusion. Use the spacebar to select/deselect these options as desired.
Viewing Log Files
To view the log(s) specified in the Select Log Options page, select Current Log from the Log Management menu. 26.

Deleting Log Files
Select Delete Log Files from the Log Management menu. The system will prompt you to verify this action before the files are erased.

Setting System Date and Time
When you select Date, Time, Locale from the MAX Admin Menu, a wizard is invoked which steps you through the process of setting the date and time for the system:
1. Use the tab key to navigate through the elements on the page, and use the spacebar to select or de-select this option. [. . . ] The Extension Brackets attach to the rear end of the Stationary Section, and allow the Rail Assembly to be anchored to the rear of the equipment rack. Note that the Extension Brackets are designed to accommodate a range of depths. Attach the brackets to the Rail Assemblies so that the rear mounting tabs reach the rear of the equipment rack, while the front mounting tabs reach the front of the rack.
1. Measure (or estimate) the depth required by your equipment rack, to get an idea of how far forward or back the Extension Bracket should be mounted on the Rail Assemblies. [. . . ]
